A recent leak from Honkai: Star Rail has unveiled the full arsenal of an upcoming five-star character known as Boothill. This new addition to the roster has already been officially confirmed by the game’s social media channels, showcasing his splash art and announcing his debut in the upcoming Version 2.2.
Boothill is not the sole newcomer in this update, as HoYoverse has also confirmed the arrival of the lively Harmony user, Robin. Though details regarding their banner placements remain undisclosed, Trailblazers can anticipate the release of update 2.2 around May 8th.
A recent post on the Honkai: Star Rail Leaks subreddit has unveiled comprehensive details about the new five-star Physical character, Boothill, including his Skill, Ultimate, Technique, and multiple Traces. According to his official bio, Boothill embodies the spirit of an optimistic cyborg cowboy, traversing the stars as a member of the Galaxy Rangers—a group dedicated to upholding justice across the cosmos.
Boothill’s Kit Revealed in Honkai: Star Rail Leak
- Skill: Sizzling’ Tango – Boothill enters a Standoff state with an enemy target, augmenting his Basic Attack while Taunting the enemy. Both parties inflict increased damage upon each other. After defeating a target, Boothill gains a stack of Pocket Trickshot before ending the Standoff, making him a formidable choice against single bosses.
- Ultimate: Dust Devil’s Sunset Rodeo – Inflicts Physical Weakness on an enemy for two turns, dealing 400% of Boothill’s ATK as Physical damage and delaying the enemy’s action by 40%.
- Technique: 3-9x Smile – Grants Boothill the ability to inflict Physical Weakness on a single enemy with his first Skill usage in subsequent battles.
- Traces: Boothill’s Ghost Load Trace enhances his CRIT Rate and CRIT damage based on the Break Effect, while the Above Snakes Trace reduces damage received from non-Standoff targets by 30%. The Point Blank Trace allows Boothill to regenerate 10 Energy points upon acquiring Pocket Trickshot during the Standoff state.
In Honkai: Star Rail, Boothill is expected to fulfill the role of a single-target DPS character, aligning with his affinity for hunting down foes. However, it’s important to approach these leaks with caution, as HoYoverse may introduce further adjustments to Boothill’s kit prior to his official release.
